Dave spent over 20 years officiating high school boys’ and girls’ basketball, college boys’ and girls’ basketball, as well as officiating junior high, high school, and college track meets. During this officiating time from 1972 to 1994, Dave was selected to officiate thirteen state tournaments. The last four years of officiating, Dave worked over 84 basketball games per year on the HS and collegiate level.
Kay started officiating in 1968 while teaching in Nampa. He then went to Weiser where he coached from 1970-1975. Kay moved back to Nampa to teach PE in the Vallivue School District, and he began officiating again. He officiated both basketball and football at the high school and college level. Kay continued to officiate until approximately 2007 and officiated over 20 state tournaments. He also umpired softball games.
Bob began officiating high school basketball games in the late 1950’s. He officiated games at all levels in multiple sports for over 50 years, calling his last game in 2014 at the age of 80. His longevity, devotion and contribution to the student athletes and the sports they played are unsurpassed. His reputation as an official who displayed impeccable integrity along with solid rule knowledge, mechanics, and game management, was recognized by athletes, coaches, and spectators throughout Idaho.
Jack spent twenty-eight years at Vallivue High School teaching, coaching golf, basketball, and football, and also serving as a part-time administrator.
Throughout his career, Jones was dedicated to the advancement of the officiating profession, serving for over ten years as the IHSAA state and District III football commissioner, as a member of the District III Commissioner’s Advisory Board for seven years and as two-time president of the Third District Officials Association.
Jim is the 2025 "Friend of the Game" inductee into the Hall of Fame.
Jim became a high school referee and coach, initially coaching girls’ basketball at Notus and later at Greenleaf with his wife, Loma. His coaching career peaked when Greenleaf reached the district championship, though a tragic crash impacted the season. Despite challenges, he remained dedicated to mentoring young athletes. Officiating and coaching brought him joy, and he cherished his interactions with students.
